Indian Costume book and fashion show :Pura-Fashion





Pura-Fashion (Ancient Indian Costumes)
is a Marathi  book written by me on ancient Indian costumes. It has published by 
Prasad Prakashan,Pune. 
The book was released on 13 June 2015 at Pune.
During the book released function we have presented a fashion show titled 

 Pura-Fashion Show.

We have presented twenty seven reconstructed garments at the show.
Ancient Indian costumes was the theme of the book and show both.
Show was included the costumes from Indus valley civilization to twelfth century A.D. . 
The evening was wonderful.

1.Female costume, Indus Vally ( 2300 B.C.E. to 1700 C.E.)

The costume is reconstructed on the basis of sculptural remains.

2.Male costume, Shuga Period ( 2nd century C.E.)

The costume is reconstructed on the basis of sculptural remains.

Total twenty seven models were presented the costumes.
Well appreciated by the audience and scholars from archaeology and Indology field.
